where has the time gone?

seriously. where did it go? i was going through my oodles and oodles of photos of carter and i came across his 2 week old portraits that we did! awww...he was so tiny and precious. sometimes i long for those quiet snuggly days! now he is this walkin, and a jabberin lil boy! it's so amazing how quickly the time passed. i guess the cheesy saying is true that time flys when you're havin fun!!

last thursday was "bring-your-kid-to-work" day at Rj's work! so carter got to go to daddy's work!! you see every morning we watch daddy get in his car, & watch the garage door open and then close down ("zzzzhhhhrrrr" he says while it shuts) and he waves bye-bye and blows kisses! but not that day! he got to get in the car and go with dad!!! he was so excited!! he brought along his lil backpack filled with his tools & even had a lil badge! rj said that at work he was walking up & down the aisles asking "whatsthis?!" rj even gave him his very own keyboard to type on!! (he LOVES to type!!)
after an hour and a half i went & picked him up. he was so tired & worn out that he fell asleep in the car on the 5 minute drive home!! =)

rock hunting & exploring

now that the weather is finally starting to get nice we've been able to get outside & play!!! hooray! carter has discovered rocks & bark chips! he loves to collect them! we have a growing collection sitting outside our front door. we drop them off there before we head back in. but some have managed to sneak in & they rest on the mantle! haha!

its been so fun watching him explore the outdoors. he stares in wonder and excitment at everything! he constantly points at things and in his cute lil babish-slur says, "whatsthis?" or "whatsthat?" yes, he really does say that!! its so cute. when a car, truck or possibly a lawn mower is overheard, he immediately stops what he is doing and says "whatsthis?! oooohhhh!" and then proceeds to make the noise!!!

on days like these, my heart skips a beat. =)

we have new neighbors who moved in across the street & they have a son close to carter's age! its been so fun getting to know them and having the boys play!

to bloggin that is! so i've decided to take matters in to my own hands and blog our daily ramblings for those of you who used to check our website! well, it hasn't been updated since aug of 06! oops! hahaha!!! so check here often for daily blurps, photos & more!!! i am also bloggin for life candids, our photo biz that we are starting! so i thought, why not, one more blog to do in between chasing, playing, picking up after, feeding, cleaning, doing laundry, editing & showering! ha!
