sure seems like summer has arrived! the weather, perfect with lots of play time outside! yesterday a friend of mine, who is studying to be a photographer, wanted to do a mini session with the kiddos. So we went down to the lake & played while she shot.  i, of course brought my camera along too....see more here.

whoa! what a long weekend! it was fantastic! the sun was shinning, we went for walks, played out in the yard & moved the kids in to one bedroom! C was having some issues being afraid at night so we thought that by having sissy in the same room, he'd feel better. so we turned the other room in  to the playroom! so fun! 

how did they do, you ask? well.........it was 10:30pm when they finally fell asleep! they were giggling, jumping up and down & pretty much just going nuts! too much excitement to handle! 

kennedy woke up twice during the night (she's cutting all 4 of her 1 yr molars at once! ouch!) to which Carter told me this morning, "move sissy back to her room. she cries too much." hahaha!

its still a work in progress. i want to paint, sew some new curtains, paint their scribbled on table & chairs, & hang up some of their art! :)

dozer day!

Last weekend was the annual Dozer Day! C (& us too!) have been looking forward to this event ALL YEAR! We took him last year and he absolutely loved it (I don't know a single boy who wouldn't!). This year he brought his cousin, Vincent, along too!

For those of you who don't know what this event is, its where Nutter construction company brings in all kinds of equipment for the kids to check out, ride on & even operate! heaven for boys, big & small.

all week C has talked about his big day at dozer day! we had fun & are looking forward to it again next year! 

luau!

ok so its been awhile since i've blogged! sorry! its been busy around here & just too tired at night to blog! 

a couple weekends ago we threw a luau for my dad's 50th birthday! it was so fun. the sun came out that day & it was just perfect! 

we served up mai tai's & every one wore island wear! our family from texas & florida were in town to celebrate too!
