snow days are fun when you get to go out and enjoy it! =)

We love Madagascar here at Casa Del Ray! We took C is to go see Madagascar 2 a while ago & of course there is the hippo Gloria in it but there is also another hippo, Moto Moto & he likes his girls big 'n chunky. He even sings about it, which is hilarious (watch a clip here). So C, being the sweet, loving brother that he is- sings 'big 'n chunky' to his sister daily! Judging by these photos- it seems rather fitting!

Where is Kennedy....

the park.

Last week it was nice out- sunny but still super chilly! So we headed up to the park to play for a bit! Its so nice to get out of the house even if its just for a bit! 

nine.

nine months. yes. she is NINE months!!!!! that means there is only 3 months until she is 1! how crazy is that?! 

current stats:

20.9lbs

29inches (she's very tall for her age!)

she loves to play peek-a-boo, squeal every time her brother zooms by, & is very into table food & feeding herself- no more of that baby food! she has 4 teeth (2 top, 2 bottom) & working on 2 more!

we are still working on getting the sister to MOVE! she does not like to be on her tummy so therefore, she does not crawl or even have the desire to! haha! she is just too chill checking out & analyzing her toys right in front of her to venture out elsewhere! she is much more fine motor oriented right now which is fine by me. C runs around enough as it is!

firsts.

this Christmas we had many firsts- carter's first Christmas he understood what Santa was all about, kennedy's first snow, first Christmas,  and both kids had their first white Christmas! (me too!) 

it was absolutely wonderful. the snow fell while we opened gifts & spent the morning together. later we went outside and it started dumping snow! i was so giddy. it was awesome!  i think it was most likely the best Christmas i have ever had!
