...to Maui!
There was much excitement in the air when we woke up that morning to head to Maui! Carter was excited but he was most concerned with if I had remembered to pack his shovels! On the way to the airport C asked, "did you pack my shovels mom?"
"yes Carter I got them."
C, "did you pack my buckets too?!"
"yes, of course"
whew. we couldn't forget those!
The flight was great. It was a smooth ride all the way there & the kids did fantastic! The 5.5 hrs seemed to go by quickly (thank goodness!) Except for the fact that every two minutes C asked this, " are we at Hawaii yet?"
"not yet, we still have 5 hrs to go..."
{2 minutes pass by}
C, "are we at Hawaii yet, momma?"
"not yet...."
{& repeat that for the next 5 hours!}
occupying his time with his diggers!
of course he fell asleep with 10 minutes left of the flight! The pilot came on & said prepare for landing & we look over & C's ASLEEP!

Oh my gosh! Kloden did the same thing on the way to Oregon. He would have just fallen asleep as we were starting our descent to land. Can't wait to see some more Hawaii posts!
