We had an excellent 4th! We were out at my folks' & invited some friends out to join us. The weather wasn't bad....a little overcast with the sun peaking through every now and then. It was perfect for parade watching! C loved it! First the old cars came by and then the fire trucks & tractors! C enjoyed picking up the candy that was tossed his way. Although I don't think he quite fully understood what it was but he still got all excited about scooping it up!
We bbq'd back at my parents house and then later after food-induced naps we headed up to the school for the local fun festival. Later that night we gathered up blankets and headed back to the end of the driveway to watch the fireworks. C was terrified of them! He covered his eyes with his hands!!! He had to watch them from inside of the car! haha!!
