Labor Day we went to the zoo to see the new baby elephant that was just born! He doesn't have a name yet so you can go vote for a potential here. He was so cute & looked so tiny compared to his mama.

C was so cute when we went in to see the baby. While putting his finger up to his lips he said, "shhhhh we gotta be quiet. the baby is in there." awww.....

the best part was C got to see the chomp!!! he wasn't out last time we went. C goes, "whoa, look at that big chomp!"
after wards Lola bought C & sissy a chomp & an elephant! But C kinda just claimed them both! sorry sissy!
we timed going to the zoo at a good time because when we were leaving there was an enormous line to get in!

hmm....didn't get to see the baby elephant the last time we were there..guess he wasn't born yet ..haaa... must go there again to see the little elephant ...hopefully won't take us long otherwise it will not be tiny anymore ..haaa... C was kissing the toy croc...sooo cute ...
We just went to the zoo yesterday, but the line was 100 miles long to see the baby elephant, waaah! I think the chomps were a favorite with us too, except they're called "crocodikles"!
How awesome that you got to see the baby elephant! We did not wait in the mile long line and some people have given us sass about it. However, I don't think Maddie was too bummed....plus we were with three babies, so the odds of us being quiet were slim.
