so i am the luckiest girl in the whole world! my hubby came home last night & got his chef on!! you see, it was his turn to bring snacks to the staff meeting the next day ( i know, how 3rd grade-ish). so he got the idea to make snacks this time instead of either having me make something or stopping by the store and grabbing something the morning of. bobby flay is one of our favorite chefs (we love the food network!!) & so he made a couple of his recipes. and how am i the lucky one here? he made a certain cookie in which i am so fond (triple chocolate double chocolate chip) of AND he made a double batch so i could have some!!! yay!! my heart was elated w/ happiness! =) & let me tell you, that man can bake!!!!!!! guess who is the new pastry chef in the house?!!!!! =)
and it gets better.....better you say, how can that be?!! well he also made mango salsa. and anyone who knows me, knows that i absolutely L-O-V-E salsa especially homemade & with mangoes tossed in!!!
so my awesome, most wonderful hubby stayed up til 1am baking my fav cookie and making my fav salsa for his co-workers BUT he made some for me too! ;)
i got my camera out to capture this monumental moment!
they were so good i ate 3 of them today! heehee.......

Mmm, those cookies look fantastic!
I love it! RJ in an apron! Wish I would have had this picture at the reunion! Looks like he did a good job! Luck lady! My hubby can make PBJ, and use the BBQ, that's about it!
