aloha from maui!

aloha all!

we made it safely to Maui!!! the flight was good, long but good. 5 hrs & 36mins...5 hrs & 36 mins with a 15 mo old who when sleeping rolls around like a 2 ft alligator & when awake flops & squirms like a fish out of water! ahhhhhhhhhh! but thankfully there was 2 open seats in rj's row behind me, my mom & dad! so my dad moved back there and my mom & i had carter with an open seat. so it wasnt too bad. he did do pretty good considering :)

when we were taking off there was this little girl across the aisle from me, she turned to her mom and said, "look mom we are going higher & higher. are we going to go high enough to see Jesus?" hahaha. cute.

the descent was really bumpy. so much so that people would ooooh & awwww like we were on a rollar coaster!

we got our rental car & headed towards the condo! its small but it sits right on the ocean! the views are incredible!!! there is a couple of bbq's over looking the ocean so you know we will be grillin & chillin bobby flay style! or more like bobby ray style! heehee..... we are staying just north of ka'anapali.

sunset pics!& while out watching the sunset we were greeted by some locals.....sea turtles! there were a couple of them. they would bob their heads up then go back underwater!

this morning like the natural alarm clock that he is, carter woke up at 6:25am back home time....that means 3:25am Hawaii time! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! nooooooo!!! i hate time changes.

today we are heading to one of the many beautiful beaches! pics soon to come about that! =)
