well today was a fabulous day in paradise! after a delish breakfast of consisting of excellent kona coffee & mangoes we headed down to kahekili beach. there was hardly anybody there, it was perfect. the waves rolled in and crashed along the shore. carter LOVED getting his feet wet! at first he didn't know what to think of the waves spilling all around his feet but then he giggled and tried to stick his hands in the water! he also loved digging in the sand! eventually his lil body got tired from all that playin so we headed back to the condo & carter snoozed & we laid out in the sun! aloe lotion is my best friend right now...hahaha.
after carter woke up we headed north to molel'ia bay or aka slaughter house beach. yikes. don't let the name scare you away. its gorgeous. but today the wind was blowing & the waves were crashing pretty hard. so we didn't swim or stay long.
once we had enough sun & beach for the day we headed down to lahaina. it holds the largest banyan tree. that thing is HUGE. we walked around the old lahaina town for a lil bit.
for dinner tonight we grilled on the bbq! it was so yummy & the perfect ending for a great day!

Carter looks like he was having so much fun playin in the sand. Man, I need a vacation too :)
